How to Apply for VA Education Benefits

New to VA Education Benefits?

Students are encouraged to apply for VA Education Benefits online:

 http://www.gibill.va.gov/GI_Bill_Info/How_to_Apply.htm

Paper applications are also available from the VA Certifying Official who can assist you in filling them out and will submit them to VA on your behalf.

Transferring VA Education Benefits to Augsburg?

If you have received VA Education Benefits at another school and have remaining entitlement, transferring your benefits to Augsburg is simple.  Contact the VA Certifying Official for the correct form to begin the process.

Already Approved for VA Education Benefits?

If you have already received a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the VA, bring a copy of it to the VA Certifying Official who will process your enrollment certification.
