Small classes, a strong liberal arts component, and the marketable technical expertise of an MIS major or minor make for a winning combination!

Augsburg's MIS program is an interdisciplinary major that includes courses in accounting, management, marketing, finance, economics, computer science, and mathematics as well as MIS. The curriculum stresses analysis and communication skills, emphasizes both theory and practice, and is shaped by the needs of the community. We take advantage of our small class size (20 student limit in most classes), excellent facilities, experienced faculty, and community ties to give our students hands-on experience as well as an MIS degree.  Students  work on real projects for their employers or local community groups to apply their MIS skills in our capstone course.
