The Augsburg campus is bustling with excitement for Homecoming 2007 — and for good reason. This year’s Homecoming will be chock full of Auggie school spirit and fun activities.
The week will kick off on Monday, Oct. 8 with a student/faculty ultimate Frisbee game and, later, a coronation/pep rally complete with a fireworks display. Other events taking place throughout the week include the ASAC Variety Show, the infamous Powder Puff football game, campus-wide laser tag, an Auggie block party, and the Homecoming dance.
Third-year student Amanda Chaffin says, “I’m so excited to play in the Powder Puff football game. I think Homecoming is a great opportunity for the first years to meet alumni and mingle with older students so they can see what Auggie spirit is all about.”

This year Augsburg College is celebrating Augsburg’s past, present and future during Homecoming, Oct. 8-13, “Auggie Adventure.” The week begins on Monday, Oct. 8 with a student kick-off event, coronation of homecoming king and queen and pep rally. Other events scheduled throughout the week include the ASAC Homecoming Variety Show, International Student Homecoming Reception, and the Pan-Afrikan Alumni Reception on Oct. 10.
