Building the church for the 21st century conference

In July, the Youth and Family Institute will hold a conference to help church leaders bring together the church and family. The conference "Building the Church for the 21st Century," is from July 20 to 24 at Augsburg College.

The conference is designed to excite, inform and train congregational leaders in the latest research and resources to help congregations and families pass on the faith from generation to generation. Mornings are devoted to major keynote presentations and afternoons utilize workshop tracks.

The conference was first billed as a national ecumenical event; however, people from Canada and as far away as Norway, Sweden and a seminary instructor from the Divinity School of Cambridge, England, are expected to attend.
