Mission
The general purposes of the Echo include:
1. To inform members of the Augsburg community about events at or around Augsburg that may interest or pertain to them.
2. To provide a forum for students, faculty/staff, and other members of the Augsburg community where they can participate in meaningful discussion on events and issues that concern them.
3. To keep members of the Augsburg community directly aware of the issues that affect them.
4. To generate and discuss story ideas at weekly meetings which are open to the Augsburg community.
5. To offer students practical experience in journalism and management and as a place where the best student writing and design can be published.
6. To provide a continuous record of Augsburg life.
