STUDENT INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATING TEAM (SINT)

Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to facilitate participation in collegiate Model United Nations Conferences, particularly the National Model United Nations Conference held annually in New York City. Preparation for and participation in these conferences provide students with the opportunity to interactively study international affairs, diplomacy, comparative economics and politics, and the workings of the United Nations. Through participation in the program, students will further interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, and conflict resolution techniques. Additionally, the program provides students with the opportunity to exercise and refine these skills at regional, national, and international conferences.
