Mission
Augsburg Recovery is a voluntary organization to assist students in their recovery from chemical dependency, gambling, sex or other compulsive acts. This organization also provides support to those who have friends, roommates, or loved ones with addictions. Augsburg Recovery is on campus to connect sober students from StepUP to the rest of campus, and to bring more awareness of the effects of addiction on student’s lives. Acceptance into Augsburg Recovery is separate from acceptance into the StepUP Program and admission to Augsburg College.
