Pan-Afrikan Student Services - Director, Mohamed Sallam
Mohamed Sallam began serving the Pan Afrikan Center as its Assistant Director in the summer of 2006. As Assistant Director, Mohamed is responsible for advising students as well as coordinating the Pan Afrikan Center’s Ujima mentoring program. He is committed to providing his students with exceptional service in order to best meet their needs so that they leave Augsburg College with the proper tools to succeed.
Mohamed received his bachelor’s degree in political science and his master’s degree in ethnic and multi-cultural studies from Minnesota State University – Mankato. Mohamed is dedicated to Augsburg’s mission on diversity as such he is steadfast in serving people from all groups. He is also fluent in Arabic and holds a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
