SERVICES

Pan Asian Student Services (PASS) works closely with academic departments to offer services needed and desired by students while studying at Augsburg. The program provides:

  • a welcoming and supportive environment
     
  • help with the admissions and financial aid process
     
  • information about scholarships and internships
     
  • academic and personal counseling
     
  • connections to the Asian community in the Twin Cities

Asian Scholars in Action (ASIA)
LEADERSHIP AWARD


PASS recognizes and nurtures student leaders. Each year seven scholarships are awarded to incoming students who have demonstrated qualities of leadership in high school. The ASIA Leadership Award is a $2,500 scholarship that can be renewed annually if criteria is met. ASIA Leadership Awards are only open to fall entry, first -year students, 1 returning student or students transferring to Augsburg College.
BEYOND
AUGSBURG

PASS links its students and the campus community to the various Asian and Asian American communities in the Twin Cities. Some of the ways that students connect with their heritage and the Pan-Asian communities include:

  • activities and events on campus such as Asian Heritage Month Celebration, Recognition Awards Banquet, and events with Asian-Based community organizations
     
  • networking and collaboration with various religious and community-based organizations on social and educational events
     
  • serving as a clearinghouse for information and activities in the larger community
