Augsburg College International Partners Program

What is the International Partners program?

International Partners promotes study abroad as a vital part of educating students in an increasingly global environment. Its mission is to provide high quality learning opportunities that combine rigorous academic work, practical professional experience, and daily immersion in another culture.

The program is based on reciprocal agreements between Augsburg College (located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) and European institutions of higher learning that offer degrees equivalent to the U.S. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.

Why study with International Partners?

Under these agreements, European students receive part of their education at Augsburg, and Augsburg students earn academic credit at Partner schools abroad. These agreements mean that courses are pre-approved to fulfill graduation requirements at a student’s home institution. The program also provides practical experience abroad through internships, fieldwork, and student teaching.

Augsburg College also offers a unique opportunity for International Partner students to study at its branch campus in Mexico.
