Dean Phillips for Congress Internship

Dean Phillips for Congress is seeking energetic interns to join one of the most closely-watched and exciting campaigns in the country in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. Interns will assist senior campaign staff with research, voter engagement, operations, data, and fundraising projects, depending on individual interests and the campaign’s needs. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, or the minimum required for educational credit if applicable. Exact hours are flexible and based on availability. Fall internships last through January, with the possibility of extending into the spring of 2018.

These are unpaid internships, but fantastic opportunities to work on one of 2018’s most competitive congressional races and learn from professional campaign staff and consultants. Ideal interns will be self-starters, quick learners, team players and hard workers.

Dean Phillips is a 6th generation Minnesotan and successful businessman with a long history of entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and philanthropy. He is running to unseat Rep. Erik Paulsen and bring responsible, inclusive and independent-minded leadership back the district. Dean was recently endorsed by End Citizens United due to his leadership on campaign finance reform, which he will make a top priority if elected.

To apply for an internship, please email a short cover letter outlining your interest and experience as well as your resume to hello@phillipsforcongress.org. If you will be applying for course credit, please include any information about the requirements set by your educational institution. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
