Welcome to my personal Web site.  I'm a Professor at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, an author, and a consultant.  I'm sometimes introduced as a Ph.D., PMP, and mother of three! Parents know which of those three accomplishments is most challenging and rewarding.

The sixth edition of ITPM was published in early April 2009 and is based on the PMBOK® Guide, Fourth Edition. The PMP exam changes July 1, 2009. Click the Test Advice link on the left for more information.

You can purchase Information Technology Project Management (ITPM), Sixth or Fifth Edition or Introduction to Project Management, Second Edition, from www.cengage.com/mis/schwalbe or amazon using the links below.

You can also purchase a separate pass code just to access the companion Web sites or electronic copies of both books from www.ichapters.com.  Instructors can request free desk copies and instructor materials. You can access lecture notes, interactive quizzes, template files, podcasts, etc. from the companion Web sites. You can also access templates and Project files from the Book FAQ link on the left on this page.  There are also Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Czech editions of my ITPM book. Cool, eh?!

MY students can find a lot of important information under the My Classes link above. Presentations I've given are under My Bio.

If you're not interested in project management, feel free to explore my other ideas on teaching, quilting, photography, etc. to explore your own creative talents.  Click here to access my amazon store with some other book recommendations.
