GRADUATE SCHOOL INFORMATION SESSION

11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: East Commons, Second Floor, Christensen Student Center

 

We invite undergraduate psychology students to attend the Graduate School Information Session which will take place over the lunch hour. Following the keynote address, please go directly the Christensensen Student Center. Go in the main double doors and up the stairs to the second floor. Marriot Food Service is directly to your left, and full lunch is available for $5.00.

Please take your lunch tray into the East Commons area (look for the signs). Representatives from the University of Minnesota, University of St. Thomas, the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology and other regional graduate programs will give brief presentations on their programs, and will devote most of the hour answering your general questions about choosing graduate schools; application strategies; the importance of grade point vs. GRE scores vs. experience, etc.; financial considerations; masters' vs doctoral programs, etc. A resource table will also be available.

Space is limited to 60 students. In order to attend the Graduate School Information Session, you must register ahead of time. If you are a presenter, please indicate "Yes" in answer to Question #6 on the Proposal and Abstract Form. (You do not need to buy lunch in order to attend the session.) If you are not a presenter, but would like to attend the session, please send an e-mail to mupc@augsburg.edu
