Shannon Ryan Recognized for Outstanding Research



Shannon Ryan, Psychology junior, was honored for her research in Washington, D.C. on April 25. Ryan was selected in a national competition sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Joining students from across the nation, she presented the results from her laboratory study "Sequential Police Lineups: A Test of Revised Procedure." As part of her Washington tour, Ryan visited U.S. Representatives Betty McCollum and Martin Sabo. Ryan's research is supervised by Dr. Nancy Steblay, and is supported by the National Institute of Justice and Augsburg's Office for Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity. This summer, Ryan is extending her research experience through participation as a research intern in the University of Minnesota's McNair Summer Research Program.
