Registrar's Office - REGISTRATION POLICIES
GENERAL REGISTRATION POLICIES
Registration changes not completed via AugNet will require a signed and dated Drop/Add Form to be processed in the Enrollment Center. It is the student's responsibility to ensure required faculty signatures are obtained (for an override of a closed class or waive of a department pre-requisite).
Students are reminded to check the accuracy of their schedule via the "Records and Registration" portion of AugNet Web. Students should do so within the registration deadlines to allow for any adjustments necessary.
For ALL Students:
Former students readmitting to the College must complete the readmit process and register for at least one course by the initial registration deadline. Continuing students must register for at least one course by the initial registration deadline. Once the initial registration deadline for a term (semester or trimester) passes, if registration is allowed, there will be a $200 late registration fee assessed to your student account.
To petition for an exception to the published registration deadlines (adding, withdrawing, or change of grade option) requires a $50 petition fee submitted with the petition (check preferred). This fee will not apply to any petition other than to those that request a registration change after published deadlines. It is non-refundable. Students who are allowed to add a course by petition after the published petition deadline, will incur a $150 late registration fee per course.
For DAY Students:
The last day to readmit to the college is the Friday before the term begins. The last day to initially register for semester courses is Friday before the term begins. After initial registration, the last day to add another class and the last day to drop a class without notation is the 10th day of class.
To add a class from day 6 through day 10 will require the signature of the instructor on the Drop/Add form and must be processed through the Enrollment Center. On class day 11 through the 20th day of classes, a student must petition the Student Standing Committee to add a class to their schedule for that term. They will need the support and signatures of the instructor (drop/add form) as well as their academic advisor (petition form). Day 20 is the last day to petition for adding a class.
Students registered for Day program Time 1/Time 2 (T1/T2) courses that meet for only half of the term may add or withdraw without notation through the fifth school day after the start of the course. Changing grade option or withdrawing with a "W" is allowed through the fourth week of T1/T2 classes. Specific dates for each term are listed under "Combined Academic Calendars".
