DAY Program Registration Dates & Times
When your registration period opens, it remains open through August 30. Your Class and the first letter of your last name determine the first day and time you can register. Registration groups will alternate each semester. See the table below:

How to Register
Make an appointment with your faculty advisor.
After you meet with your faculty advisor, s/he will remove your Advisor Hold thus enabling your web registration. Plan your schedule in advance of web registration and select alternate choices in case a course is not available.
Prerequisite and Transfer Issues
Augsburg’s student database should recognize the majority of course prerequisites on your record and allow you to register online. This includes prerequisite courses that have been transferred from other institutions. However if you encounter a prerequisite issue when trying to register for a course, contact the Registrar’s Office.
These registrations cannot be completed online and require a Registration Form with proper approval:

THP courses (theatre practicum courses)

MUP100 courses (variable credit music lessons)

Student Teaching (Education department approval required)
- Internship (separate form needed; instructor and Strommen Center director signatures required)
- Independent Study and Directed Study (separate form needed; instructor and department chair signatures required)
ACTC Registration
Early ACTC registration is open April 22 through May3 only. To register for an ACTC course after May 3, obtain the instructor’s signature on an ACTC registration form on the first day of class and submit it to the Enrollment Center. More ACTC information here
