Application Guidelines for 2013-2014

1. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
   1. Be in good academic and conduct standing with Augsburg College.
   2. Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
2. THE APPLICATION:
   1. The application is online and must be submitted through the Augsburg Human Resources website at www.augsburg.edu/hr
   2. A resume is required for this position.  A cover letter is optional.  For more information on creating a résumé visit the Strommen Career and Internship Center at http://www.augsburg.edu/cswl/.
   3. The application must be completed electronically by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2013.
   4. Once you have submitted your application through the website, you will receive an email with conformation of your applications and directions on logging into the Residence Life Selection Moodle site.
   5. Log on to Moodle to schedule your interview time.
3. THE TIMELINE:
   1. November 14-January 19:  Information sessions will be held to share information about the positions, the process and to answer questions.  Although attendance is optional, you will gain valuable information about the application and interview process, and are, therefore, encouraged to attend one of these sessions.
   2. January 17:  Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on this date to be considered for our 2013-2014 academic team.
   3. January 20: Our group interview will take place on this day.  You are required to attend this part of the interview to continue eligibility in our process.
   4. January 23-25 & January 29-31 :  Interviews will take place on these days.  You will sign up for your interview time once you submit your application.
   5. February 15: You will be notified of your status by email.

Lead Student Staff

• Summer Residential Facilities Coordinator (Summer RFC)

Application Guidelines for 2013-2014

3. THE TIMELINE:
   1. November 14-December 12:  Information sessions will be held to share information about the positions, the process and to answer questions.  Although attendance is optional, you will gain valuable information about the application and interview process, and are, therefore, encouraged to attend one of these sessions.
   2. December 12:  Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on this date to be considered for our 2013-2014 Lead Team.
   3. December 13: During the evening an orientation to the Lead Staff selection process will occur.
   4. January 8: Presentations will take place this day.  You will sign up for a presentation time once you submit your application.
   5. January 11: Interviews for lead applicants will take place on this day.
   6. January 20: Our group interview will take place on this day for applicants for all positions.  Lead applicants will play a facilitator role in this process.
   7. January 23-25 & January 29-31: Interviews for general staff positions will take place during this time.  Lead applicants will help conduct these interviews.
   8. February 5: You will be notified of your status by email. If you choose to accept a Lead Staff position with the Department of Residence Life you will be given the opportunity to join us in our general staff selection conversations on February 11 & February 12.
