What should I bring?
To make your room your "home away from home," you may consider
bringing posters, pictures, decorations, and favorites from your
bedroom. Bring what you need to make the space your home, but remember
most residents share spaces. Some residents have contacted roommates to
make room arrangements prior to moving in – like who is
bringing the TV?
Things to Bring:
- telephone
- alarm clock
- radio
- desk lamp
- waste basket
- bucket/basket to carry toiletries
- storage crates
- UL approved multiple outlet strips (with circuit breaker)
- towels
- pillow
- extra long bed sheets (36" x 80")
- shower sandals.
- fridges 5 cubic feet or less
Optional items include stereo, computer, TV, VCR, video games, microwave, and coffee maker.
What should I leave at
home?
The use and/or storage of the following items
have resulted in injuries, fires, and loss of property and lives.
Therefore these items are not allowed in the residence halls: flammable
fluids, incense, candles, potpourri pots
with open flame, grills, hot plates, toasters, air
conditioners, firearms, ammunition, illegal weapons,
