Application Guidelines for 2015-2016

  1. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
    1. Be in good academic and conduct standing with Augsburg College.
    2. Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  2. THE APPLICATION:
    1. The application is online and must be submitted through the Augsburg Human Resources website at http://www.augsburg.edu/hr
    2. A cover letter and resume are required for this position. For more information on creating a successful cover letter and/or resume, visit the Strommen Center for Meaningful Work at http://www.augsburg.edu/cswl/.
    3. The application must be completed electronically by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014.
    4. Once you have submitted your application through the website, you will receive an email with confirmation of your applications and directions on logging into the Residence Life Selection Moodle site.
    5. Log on to Moodle to schedule your interview and presentation time.
  3. THE TIMELINE:
    1. October 29-November 7:  Throughout this time, Residence Life Student Staff will be tabling in various areas of campus. If you have questions in regards to any position, stop by and ask them some questions.
    2. November 7:  Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on this date to be considered for our 2015-2016 Lead Team.
    3. November 12 & 13: Presentations and individual interviews will take place this day.  You will sign up for a presentation time through Moodle once you submit your application.
    4. November 17-20: Interviews for general staff positions will take place during this time.  Lead applicants will help conduct these interviews.
    5. November 23: Our RA group interview will take place on this day for applicants for all positions.  Lead applicants will play a facilitator role in this process.
    6. December 2: You will be notified of your status by email.
