Ausgburg College Day Student Government!

As the Augsburg Day Student Government, we aim to represent our constituents of the Augsburg Day Student Body by acting as a liason between students, faculty, administration the greater Augsburg community, to act as a mediator in the resolution of student concerns, to aid in communication and support of other student organizations, and to advocate personal responsibility at our college, in our community and beyond.

We also would like to strongly encourage anyone who is interested in our process, has questions or concerns or any other issues to contact us, or to come to our meetings for:

Soapbox is a time where members of our community, whether from Augsburg or elsewhere, can appeal Student Senate on a wide gamut of issues. They may take the time to inform on an issue, ask for guidance, express a concern, request fiscal support from our surplus or anything in-between. Although many presentations are slightly formal, it is not a requirement. We  invite you to use this medium to accomplish your goals. If you would like to be added to the agenda to soapbox, please email Student Body Vice President Jake Quarstad by 5 P.M. of the Tuesday preceding the meeting. Please send a brief on what you wish to discuss to quarstad@augsburg.edu.
