My name is Nga Phung, but I prefer to go by Ivory. (Nga in Vietnamese means Ivory) I am an international student as well as a degree-seeking student majoring in International Buisness and Finance. My first goal ever since I decided to go to Augsburg is to contribute to the community. I will spend the next four years living and showing this. This goal is among the reasons I joined Student Senate. Another reason is that I want to represent my class, to speak up for our concerns, and decide on Student Body business. I hope to provide the view an international student to enrich the diversity at Augsburg. My goals this year are to join some committees that hold different activities for Auggies, achieve the goals that my fellow senators and I set, all while maintaining a a satisfactory grade to keep my scholarship. I know it may seem like too much, but my favorite quote is "Shoot for the moon, so even if you fail, you will land among the stars."
