Greetings Augsburg Social Work Students!
Every year, the Minnesota Chapter of NASW hosts Social Work Day at the Capitol.
A day where social workers from around the state participate in policy
advocacy, learning about the political process, networking, and using our
unified political voice. Social work departments from around the state often
send caravans of students.
Augsburg too will be participating. You can download a registration form
here. Please
register for this event through Augsburg. It costs $20 for the event. No lunch provided this year please plan accordingly.
The first 40 students to register with us will get 1/2 of their
registration paid for by the Augsburg social work department! Please attach $10
cash or check to your registration form and return it to the social work
department. Social Work Faculty will be driving the Augsburg minibus, so join us
in the ride too! If you wish to drive, let us know if you can carpool/caravan.
We look forward to seeing you there!
