Actor, director, writer, producer and educator LeVar Burton, best known for his roles in Roots, Star Trek and Reading Rainbow, will share with the Augsburg Community the importance of turning STEM into STE(A)M–integrating science, technology, engineering and math with the arts and design.

- Augsburg College lots J, K & L (Limited Availability and available on a first-come, first-served basis). NO guest parking in all other Augsburg lots.
- University of Minnesota: Fairview-University Medical Center’s RED Parking Ramp (Guests that show their paid ticket will receive a reduced event rate of $5.00).
- The University of Minnesota also has parking ramps on 21st Ave. S. and on 19th Ave. S.
- On-street parking is monitored by the city of Minneapolis and has two- and four-hour limits and availability is limited. Please allow extra time for parking when arriving for events.

ADA seating or other ADA accommodations
The arranged drop-off area for all guests with disabilities is located on near the north end of Si Melby Hall. There will be designated seating on the floor for guests with accessibility needs. If you or one of your guests will need accessible seating, please indicate this to an usher, who will assist you with finding suitable seats. We encourage guests with mobility concerns to arrive early to allow adequate time for ushers to assist with seating arrangements. Please contact the Event & Conference Planning office at 612.330.1104 if you have questions or to discuss seating options.
ASL Interpretation of the presentation will be provided. Seating in this section is available on a first-come, first-served basis and we encourage guests needing this service to arrive by 10:45am for best seating options. Please indicate to an usher if you would prefer seating in this section. Certified service animals or service animals in training for guests with disabilities are welcome at the event. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. No other animals are allowed at the event.
Accessible stalls are located in the main lobby of the Kennedy Center or in each restroom on the lower level of Si Melby Hall.

Yes, you are welcome to bring a small, personal camera to the event. No attendee cameras with lenses over six inches (6”) long will be permitted. No handheld videocameras are permitted.
