What We Do
ABOUT TRIO / STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
TRiO/Student Support Services (SSS) is a relatively new program at Augsburg College.
The SSS program is one of three TRiO programs originally funded under the Higher Education Act of 1965, whose objective is to help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to complete their college education. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Student Support Services is committed to helping low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities achieve a bachelor's degree.
The program's mission is to increase the retention and graduation rates of these students by offering academic and personal support. Click here for more information on services.
