1. All students who are interested in URGO summer research or a summer research assistantship should read the information packet below and decide which research option they would like to pursue:

Tips for an Effective URGO Application
2. Application Phase 1 due February 4, 2013. All students who are
applying for URGO summer research or a summer research assistantship must submit a signed, hard copy of the Phase 1 Application below by February 4th to Science 152D by 4pm.
2013 URGO Summer Research Application – Phase 1
3. Applications Phase 2 Due February 25, 2013. IMPORTANT: Make sure you complete the correct phase 2 application!
URGO Summer Research Program Application (200 or 400 hours)- Phase 2 (click to download). Students who are applying for full-time or half-time research (under research option 1 or 2 in the information packet) should work with their faculty mentor to prepare the Phase 2 URGO Summer Research Program Application. Faculty mentors should email the completed phase 2 application to urgo@augsburg.edu by 4pm on February 25th.
Summer Research Assistantship Application (100 hours) – Phase 2 (click to download). Students who are applying for a summer Research Assistantship (under research option 3 in the information packet) should work with their faculty mentor to prepare the Phase 2 Research Assistantship Application. Faculty mentors should email the completed phase 2 application to urgo@augsburg.edu by 4pm on February 25th.

Applications for Academic-Year Research Grants are accepted on a rolling basis. To apply, complete the electronic application below with your faculty mentor and have them email it to urgo@augsburg.edu.
2012-2013 Academic Year Research Application
Upon completion of the research project, students are required to fill out the research report form below and have their mentors approve it and send to urgo@augsburg.edu.
