Augsburg College has been a leader in adult education since 1982, under the name Weekend College (WEC). As WEC has grown, we have expanded our offerings to 17 different majors with classes on alternate weekends and weeknights. With a wide variety of educational opportunities offered in so many different times, we are using the name Augsburg for Adults to more accurately represent the undergraduate education programs geared towards adults.
As a college, we recognize adult students (defined as students who range from 25-60-plus) have different educational needs and goals than traditional aged students. We strive to assist adult learners in their educational journey and provide quality education and student services to adult students.
