Class Schedule
Make a class schedule that works for you.
Augsburg’s Weekend College is tailored around the busy lifestyles
and schedules of working adults – people like you. You’re
what is called the “non-traditional”
student, and as such, you need a program that fits your needs and plans.
Here’s how Augsburg College makes it work for you:
- You begin your coursework in any one of our three trimesters: Fall
(September-December), Winter (January-March) or Spring (April-June).
- Each course meets for one 3-1/2 or 4 hour session (Friday evening,
Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon) on alternate
weekends.
- You may take from one to four courses per trimester. Most students
choose two courses per trimester, but the choice is yours.
- You can begin with or without previous college experience.
- For scheduling flexibility, some courses are offered on weekday
evenings.
Note that full-time student status requires two course credits per
trimester.
You typically get two weeks in between your weekend
classes at Augsburg. On the theory that you have other things to do.
We’re also constantly enhancing our program with new and innovative
options, including some online classes you can take anytime and some
weekday evening classes. And if your schedule permits, of course, you
can always choose to attend classes held during the day in our traditional
time slots.
Here’s what a typical schedule might look like.
