Kathryn Swanson

Kathryn Swanson is a professor of English at Augsburg who teaches various courses in writing and literature. She is also chair of the department and in charge of the College writing lab and ESL Program.

Her research interests lie in composition theory and pedagogy, especially gender differences in students’ writing and responding to writing. Another interest is mystery fiction, especially by women writers, featuring female sleuths.
