Interpreter Request Policies and Procedures
Students who access accommodations through the CLASS Office can request an American Sign Language Interpreter by contacting email@example.com.
Interpreter requests should be made at least five business days in advance (not including weekends and holidays). If a request is made with less than five (5) days’ notice, every effort to arrange an interpreter will be made, but the CLASS Office cannot guarantee service provision on short notice.
Requests for interpreters for a semester course(s) should be made two weeks in advance to ensure an interpreter is secured.
To cancel an interpreter, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org no less than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start time of the event.
To make changes to your interpreter request, please email email@example.com with the updated information.
Any questions or concerns about requesting an interpreter, about interpreting services at Augsburg University, or feedback or complaints about interpreting services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 612-330-1053.
Note: If you are not a student working with the CLASS Office, a faculty, or are a community member requesting an interpreter, please contact the Event Coordinator or the Department sponsoring the event on campus to request an interpreter directly.
