How do I order Accessible Seating Tickets?
Reserved seating will be available to accommodate those guests that may have accessibility needs. If you will require special seating for guests, you will be able to indicate the total number of Accessible Needs tickets you require when submitting your online ticket request. Please note that in most situations, the guest with the accessible seating needs will be able to have one companion from your group join them in the reserved section. We ask that the remainder of your group locate seats in the general admission seating areas to ensure our ability to meet the needs of all guests requiring accessible seating.
If you know you will have guests in a wheelchair or with other specific mobility needs, that have hearing or vision impairments, that may have difficulty navigating the stairs for any reason, or that may require any other special accommodations, please carefully read the details below and communicate any special needs in advance.
What information is needed?
If possible, we would appreciate knowing details about any special needs your guests may have so that we can be prepared to the greatest degree possible. To assist with this, after requesting your Accessible seating tickets, please let us know details about your guests by emailing as much specific information as possible to email@example.com. Please include the graduate name, the name of the guest needing accommodations, as much detail as possible about the required accommodations and contact information should we need to follow up for any reason.
Will the seats for my guests be located together?
In most situations, the guest with the accessible seating needs will be able to have one companion from your group join them in the reserved section. As the total number of seats available for accessible seating is limited, we ask that the remainder of your group locate seats in the general admission seating areas to ensure our ability to meet the needs of all guests requiring accessible seating.
How many accessible seating tickets should I order?
We suggest that you order one ticket for your guest(s) with the accessible seating need and one ticket for a companion to accompany that person. For example, if a grandparent will be attending the ceremony in a wheelchair, two Accessible seating tickets should be requested –one for the grandparent and one for their companion.
Can I adjust the number of accessible tickets I need if our plans change?
If you need to adjust the allocation of your tickets, we are able to assist you with that in the University Events office. To make changes, please reach out University Events at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling x1104 for assistance.
When and where should my guests enter the stadium?
All guests should go through security and enter the stadium at the northwest Legacy Gates, located on the west side of U.S. Bank Stadium. Volunteers will be available near the ticketing area to assist with locating the reserved accessible seating areas.
Can my guests change their mind about where they prefer to sit within the stadium?
Yes. Upon arrival, your guests may decide that the availability of ramps, ushers, and aisle seats negates the need for special seating. The Accessible seating tickets may be used to sit anywhere in the stadium should your guest opt to not sit in the reserved section(s).
Does everyone need an Accessible Seating ticket to sit in the reserved section?
Yes, guests seated in these designated areas must have an Accessible seating ticket. Ushers will be available to assist guests in those areas.
What if I have a hearing impaired guest?
Please bring this to the attention of an usher. An ASL interpreter will be available in the stadium to assist with hearing impaired guests. Accessible seating tickets for those with hearing impairments and one companion should be ordered by the student.
