Commencement is open to all undergraduates who have a complete Intent to Graduate packet on file in the Registrar’s Office. To be eligible, students must have no more than three requirements remaining at the end of spring term and be able to complete all requirements no later than fall term (December 2020). To verify that you have met the commencement requirements, read the Monitor Degree Progress section of the Graduation Checklist and then contact the Registrar’s Office if you still have concerns or questions.
Commencement is open to all graduate and doctoral students who have completed their program’s graduation application process as communicated by their program’s coordinator. To verify that you have completed the process, contact your program’s coordinator.
All students who have been approved for participation in commencement will be listed in the program unless they notify the Registrar’s Office that they wish to withdraw their application. This must be done prior to the deadline for publication of the Commencement program (March 31, 2020). Candidates listed in the Commencement 2019 program will not be listed in subsequent Commencement programs.
To make any changes, please contact the Registrar’s office at 612-330-1738 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Physician Assistant Studies students should call 612-330-1518.
Your degree date will be printed on your diploma and transcript. It is based on when you complete your final graduation requirements, not the date of Commencement.
