Dur-Dur Band, formed in the 1980s, Dur-Dur Band was one of the most famous groups in Mogadishu\u2019s music scene.\u00a0<\/span>In the early 1990s, the civil war forced the musicians into exile, cutting off the band in its prime.\u00a0Reunited after decades for this residency, the convocation will provide<\/span>\u00a0a special opportunity to witness “Somalia’s last great party band” in an intimate setting and\u00a0playing\u00a0together live for the first time in years.<\/span><\/p>\n
