Many students have successfully completed major courses as well as core requirements abroad on both short-term and semester programs in several different countries.<\/p>\n<h2>GLOBAL EDUCATOR\u2019S SEMESTER IN MEXICO<\/h2>\n<p>Spend spring semester at Augsburg\u2019s Study Center in Mexico! The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/studyabroad.augsburg.edu\/?go=MexicoEducation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/studyabroad.augsburg.edu\/?go%3DMexicoEducation&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1509464444494000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGSZplPXVsOUvCmQ3llAB5KqTWgqg\">Global Educators Semester<\/a>\u00a0program was created by Augsburg Education Faculty to provide Education Majors with the opportunity to develop necessary cultural communication skills needed to succeed in today\u2019s multicultural teaching environment.<\/p>\n<p>Students will engage with Mexican educators form private, public, and alternative institutions, as well as visit elementary and high schools in both rural and urban areas. Highlights of the program include the ability to complete an internship in education, take courses toward the Education Major\/Minor, complete up to two Spanish language courses, and ability to complete additional general education requirements needed for graduation.<\/p>\n<p>Augsburg students receive an automatic $1,500 scholarship on this program and save money on lower room and board fees \u2013 which makes this program one of the most affordable study abroad options for Auggies.<\/p>\n<h2>More about Study Abroad<\/h2>\n<p>Augsburg maintains exchange relationships with institutions of higher education across the globe at which you can study Education requirements, including <a href=\"http:\/\/studyabroad.augsburg.edu\/?go=AuggiesVolda\">Norway<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/studyabroad.augsburg.edu\/?go=Lebanon\">Lebanon<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/studyabroad.augsburg.edu\/?go=SejongKorea\">South Korea<\/a>, and many more!
