He began research in space physics in 1989. He came to Augsburg because he saw it as a \u201ccollege of the city.\u201d \u201cI also liked how the department is committed to the students and teaching.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe try to connect with our students. The opportunities for undergraduate research are plentiful, and students have appreciated the chance to work with professors on cutting edge research.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is also the pre-engineer advisor.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Education<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>B.S.
