Six Auggies\u2015successful in business, mentorship, leadership, and advocacy for the College recently were elected to three-year terms on the Augsburg College Alumni Board.<\/p>\n

Augsburg College has provided a strong foundation that has allowed my family and me to prosper. As a first-generation immigrant, college was a far cry; however, Augsburg College made my dreams a reality. I have graduated with a BSN and an MBA from Augsburg, and I am committed to helping others succeed.<\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything I\u2019ve done since leaving Augsburg that my Augsburg experience didn\u2019t prepare me for. It\u2019s incredible to think about how all of those experiences and connections have so adequately prepared for me what I do. I\u2019m grateful to be able to do something I love.<\/em><\/p>\n

I personally have embraced my struggles growing up as a minority in the Twin Cities suburbs in a positive way and can relate to others that may have or are currently going through some of the same struggles. I sent two of my children to Augsburg, Austin \u201914 and Alexandra \u201915, and I have been active with the Parent and Family Council.
