She is also a professor of nursing and executive director of the Augsburg Health Commons. She has a passion for engaging with the community and infusing the university\u2019s mission into learning experiences to foster civic agency, cultivate belonging, and create relationship-centered care. As a professor of Social Work and Youth Studies at Augsburg, his teaching and scholarship centers on community data justice, community-driven programs, and shared decision-making, particularly with young people and human service organizations. She holds a BA in Social Work and Race and Ethnic Studies from St. Olaf College. As the Bonner Program Manager, Coral is committed to fostering a deep sense of belonging and confidence among student participants as they explore their vocational paths. Their interest in increasing food access has been largely influenced by their family, who were farmers in Cambodia and are now devoted gardeners in the U.S. Zinnia has always treasured summers tending to the garden, picking vegetables and preparing food with their loved ones. The act of growing food, preparing food together, and sharing food with those around them is nourishing, comforting, and inspiring across language and culture.
