This summer she received funding through the Lindstrom Scholars program to work with Dr. Vivian Feng on the toxicity of gold nanoparticles on bacteria. She has written a blog post for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sustainable-nano.com\">Sustainable Nano<\/a> about the use of gold nanoparticles in liposuction and why this technology is safer than traditional methods.
