PMP students receive academic development and experience designed to\u00a0<strong>improve competitiveness<\/strong>\u00a0as a medical or health professions degree applicant.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zero tuition costs<\/strong>\u00a0for this nine-month, non-degree program.<\/li>\n<li>PMP students\u00a0<strong>participate in medical school-level coursework<\/strong>\u00a0while preparing to take or retake the MCAT. PMP students are graded in the same way as other RFU students. A transcript is available after completion of coursework.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Students who do well academically in PMP will be granted an interview with the Chicago Medical School<\/strong>\u00a0or other RFU clinical program of their choice, providing all application requirements are met.<\/li>\n<li>PMP students benefit from focused faculty, staff and alumni mentors who\u00a0<strong>provide academic support, skills development and a small cohort<\/strong>\u00a0with whom they can experience professional school life and other enrichment experiences to which they might not otherwise have access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application deadline is 7\/1\/21.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eligibility and Application<\/p>\n<h2>Preparing for the Optometry Admission Test<\/h2>\n<p><strong>SHPEP Virtual Webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>June 28 &#8211;\u00a05:00 p.m. EST<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Optometry Admission Test (OAT) is designed to provide optometry education programs with a means to assess program applicants\u2019 potential for success.
