Dr. Levine joined the faculty in 2009 after 4 years of clinical practice in college health. It is exciting to be on the other side of academics being able to help train and guide new providers to lead clinical medicine in the years to come.” Her interests included women’s health, mental health and international medicine.

Dr. Levine is board certified in Family Medicine. She attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from Loyola University in Chicago for her medical degree. She completed her residency at Smiley’s clinic here in Minneapolis. Besides teaching at Augsburg, Dr. Levine is still practicing family medicine in an urgent care setting. “I feel it is important to continue to broaden my clinical skills in order to meet the challenges of teaching the most up to date information.”

Dr. Levine coordinates the mental health, women’s health and special populations/public health units. She also helps facilitate the History and Physical Exam labs. “I find it to be extremely fulfilling to be a part of a program that can continually develop such high caliber physician assistants.”
