Tours in Other Languages
So that families of prospective students have an opportunity to be engaged in the college search process, Augsburg offers campus tours in languages other than English. Tours are currently available in Spanish and Hmong. In addition to the tour, students and families have the option of meeting with an admissions counselor and an interpreter to learn more about the admissions process, scholarships, financial aid, academic programs and Augsburg.
Overnight visits are for high school seniors that have already been accepted into Augsburg University, and are only available during the academic year. You can add a day visit before or after the overnight to sit in on classes or talk with faculty or coaches.
Schedule by phone by calling 612-330-1001 at least two weeks before you intend to visit.
Saturday Group Tours
Saturday tours are designed for students and their families, and are provided in a group setting. They include a short admissions presentation following your campus tour with lunch provided in the cafeteria by request. Note that this is a group tour, so we encourage high school seniors to schedule an individual campus visit instead, in order to have a more personalized experience.
Group Visits for High Schools
Group visits are for high schools only and are only available on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM during the academic year. They are approved on a first-come first-served basis, and are required to have at least one chaperone per 10 students. The chaperone(s) must stay with the group at all times.
