Experience Campus for Yourself
Explore our college in the city by meeting with an Admissions Counselor and touring campus with an Auggie Guide. Being an Auggie for the day can help you get a better feel for what it’s like to live, learn, work, and play on Augsburg’s campus every day!
Before you come, scroll through photos of campus and listen to what life here is like from current Auggies with our virtual tour in these formats:
Schedule a Summer Campus Visit
Summer is a great time to come and see campus and get your questions answered about what Augsburg has to offer. Summer visits start with a tour of campus followed by an optional appointment with an Admissions Counselor.
Campus visits during the summer are held Monday – Friday in the mornings at 10:00 a.m., or in the afternoon at 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.
Call the Admissions Office at 612-330-1001 or 1-800-788-5678 to schedule a tour and counselor appointment at least two days prior to your visit day. We will confirm all visits by sending out a campus map with directions and a parking permit.
Come equipped with all your questions about Augsburg, the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarships. An Auggie Guide will give you a campus tour and share their Augsburg experience with you. The campus tour will take approximately one hour followed by an optional counselor visit which lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Overnight visits can be scheduled during the academic year for students in their senior year of high school. Please call to schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance so we can create the best experience for you.
Visiting overnight can help you decide if Augsburg is the right fit for you. You can also add a day visit before or after the overnight to sit in on classes or talk with faculty or coaches.
For all group visits, please contact our visit coordinator, Brenda Hemmingsen, at 612-330-1001 to learn more about preparing your visit for the 2015-2016 academic year.
We will resume scheduling group visits for the fall semester in August.
For classroom and co-curricular groups, visits are scheduled on Wednesdays. Group visits are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to have at least one chaperone per 10 students. The chaperone must stay with the group at all times. Groups may not be larger than 50 students. It is important to know that no buses are allowed to park on campus while your group is visiting.
