Experience Campus for Yourself
Explore our college in the city by meeting with an Admissions Counselor and touring campus with an Auggie Guide. Being an Auggie for the day can help you get a better feel for what it’s like to live, learn, work, and play on Augsburg’s campus every day!
Before you come, scroll through photos of campus and listen to what life here is like from current Auggies with our virtual tour in these formats:
Schedule an Individual Campus Visit
Come and see campus and get your questions answered about what Augsburg has to offer. Campus visits begin with an hour tour of Augsburg followed by an optional counselor interview which lasts approximately 30 minutes. Visits are held Monday – Friday at 10:00, 12:00, & 2:00 p.m.
To schedule an individual campus visit and tour, click the link below or call the Admissions Office at 612-330-1001 or 1-800-788-5678 at least two days prior to your visit day. We will confirm all visits by sending out a campus map with directions and a parking permit.
Take a Saturday Group Tour
Saturday tours are a great way for you to see the campus with other students and their families also interested in Augsburg. Touring on one of our select Saturdays will also allow you the opportunity to attend an information session with one of our Admissions Counselors following your tour of campus.
Saturday group tours will be available when the academic year resumes in September. Be sure to check back later this summer for the dates we will be hosting group tours on select Saturdays.
Overnight visits can be scheduled during the academic year for students in their senior year of high school. Please call to schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance so we can create the best experience for you.
Visiting overnight can help you decide if Augsburg is the right fit for you. You can also add a day visit before or after the overnight to sit in on classes or talk with faculty or coaches.
For all group visits, please contact our visit coordinator, Brenda Hemmingsen, at 612-330-1001 to learn more about preparing your visit for the 2016-2017 academic year.
For classroom and co-curricular groups, visits are scheduled on Wednesdays. Group visits are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to have at least one chaperone per 10 students. The chaperone must stay with the group at all times. Groups may not be larger than 50 students. It is important to know that no buses are allowed to park on campus while your group is visiting.
