- Share your photos with us
Augsburg Abroad is always looking for great photos that students have taken on their study abroad programs. Students on a sand dune in Namibia, locals in a cafe in Turkey, children playing a local game in Korea—any and all photos are welcome. Your photo could even encourage current and future Augsburg students to study abroad themselves. Send your photos to us at abroad@augsburg.edu. - Take this keystone course to incorporate your study abroad experience into the classroom:
KEY 480 Issues in Global Interdependence (Spring Semester)
Investigate what it means for you to be a global citizen through an in depth look at a current topic. Past topics include terrorism and issues in education, environment, and politics. Students are expected to draw from their past experience of their study abroad host country as well as current events in the country.
Prerequisites: Students must have at least junior standing and have completed a study abroad experience.
- Volunteer or work for Augsburg Abroad
We have several opportunities for our study abroad alumni to get involved and to encourage other students to participate in study abroad programs. Examples include participating in International Education Week activities (each November), helping out at our study abroad fairs, or working as a peer adviser in our office. Contact our office for more details.
- Intern, volunteer, or work at an organization with an international focus
The Twin Cities is home to numerous organizations that serve to local immigrant communities or have an international reach. You could be an ESL tutor, mentor newly-arrived refugees, promote human rights, advocate for environmental justice, tutor immigrant youth…the possibilities are many! Contact the Strommen Career and Internship Center (www.augsburg.edu/strommen) to get started on researching these types of opportunities.

What's Up with Culture
You may have looked at this site before you studied abroad, but check again. The “Welcome Back! Now What?” module helps students prepare for their reentry transition and reflect on their intercultural experiences and learning.
Glimpse
Glimpse is a nonprofit supported in part by National Geographic Society that offers you a platform to develop and share your stories of real life abroad.
