Fine Arts Scholarships

The Fine Arts Scholarship recognizes incoming students (day only) who have excelled in filmforensics, music, theater or visual arts—including vocal and instrumental performance, acting, design, and production—and who plan to actively participate in the fine or performing arts at Augsburg. This renewable award of $3,000 per year is based on an on-campus audition or interview. Applicants need not major in art, communication studies, film, music, or theater, but are required to participate in a student organization and/or a performance group. Applicants may apply in more than one area of fine arts but may receive only one scholarship.

Amount: $3,000/year 

Application Deadline: All fine arts students who have been offered admission by January 11, 2019, will be invited to audition in the January 25, 2019, Fine Arts Scholarship recognition event.  After January 25, 2019 applicants who are accepted and will be considered for the Fine Arts Scholarship on a rolling basis until April 1, 2019. The Admissions Office will connect with students once they are admitted to complete the Fine Arts Scholarship process including scheduling the audition and or interview.
