The Augsburg Master of Arts in Nursing program prepares in-career nurses for transformational leadership and transcultural practice across care settings, with particular emphasis on addressing health care inequities.
At Augsburg, the MA in Nursing students benefit by one-on-one interaction wtih faculty and personal attention from staff. The program provides the flexibility needed by in-career nurses to work toward a master's degree while also managing the demands of work and family. A distinguishing feature of our program -- and a highlight for many of our students -- is the opportunity to complete a practicum in Pine Ridge, SD or abroad in Namibia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, or in Europe.
