Broadening the Reach of Space Science Education

OVERVIEW

Since 1991, NASA Space Grant funding has enabled Augsburg College in Minneapolis to support a rich array of public education programs focusing on space science research and exploration. The goal of the Augsburg College NASA Space Grant Program is to promote educational outreach, teaching and research in engineering, mathematics and science fields that support NASA's Strategic Enterprises. To meet that goal, Augsburg College has developed a number of ongoing educational outreach programs:

Prof. Jeanine Gregoire, Physics & Education Departments
Augsburg Director, Space Grant Program

Kirsten Waynewood
Student Coordinator

Affiliate of the NASA sponsored Minnesota Space Grant Consortium
William Garrard, Ph.D., MN Space Grant Director
Department of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics
University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
