Misty Tippets recently graduated from James Madison University where she completed her M.A. During that time, she worked with the JMU debate team and taught “Public Speaking” and “Group Communication.” She has worked as a debate coach at the collegiate and high school level, helping assist them to achieve success locally and nationally. Previously to her M.A. Misty debated at Weber State University and during that time she was a four-time NDT qualifier, appearing in the Octo-finals at the 2017 NDT. At the 2015 CEDA National Championship she was in the Elite Eight, finishing 6th out of 116 teams. Misty received her B.S. in Communication from Weber State University and her M.A. in Communication & Advocacy from James Madison University.
