Statement on Charges for the 2020-21 Academic Year
For Academic Year 2020-21, Augsburg intends to provide instruction through a variety of formats, including hybrid, remote, and online while following guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and other public health authorities. Since changing circumstances may affect Augsburg’s ability to deliver course content in a particular manner, the University reserves the right to modify the instruction and delivery method for any course content, including for reasons relating to the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. Tuition, room, board, and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely or other changes to the campus environment occur for any part of the academic year. If Augsburg is unable to provide a full semester of instruction, residential living, and/or dining for any reason it may, in its sole discretion, offer refunds or credits. Given the uncertainty and Augsburg’s preparation for a range of possible scenarios, the University is developing contingency plans if we have to scale back operations due to COVID-19. Our contingency plans strive to provide flexibility to allow students to continue taking courses and accessing services online to keep them on a path to timely graduation.
