The degree
The Augsburg College Business Administration degree with the Management
concentration is now offered weekday evenings, with classes held
every-other week. Attend classes taught by professors who are experts in their academic fields, have real life experience, and are experienced in teaching adult learners.
The faculty
After all, Augsburg began its programs for adult students in 1982.
The faculty understand that you may be juggling a career, a family,
and other responsibilities. They value your life experience and
allow you to bring your own ideas and perspectives into the classroom.
In fact, they expect that you will. In turn, you will be able to
immediately apply the topics covered in class to your job and your
life.
The classes
Another benefit is that you'll attend class every-other week with
a small group of students from richly diverse professional and
cultural backgrounds. In this supportive environment, you will
learn how to work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and
cultures—essential preparation for your current and future
participation in the workplace and community.
The difference
Whatever your current career, you will be able to immediately see
a change in the way in which you approach your work and those you
work with. And they will notice a change in you, too.

courses, they are eligible to apply for school nurse certification.
Schedule
The bachelor’s degree completion program is an extension of
Augsburg’s Weekend College program. Nursing classes meets
on a weekday evening for four hours, usually between
4:00 and 8:00 p.m., seven to eight times during a 12-week term. Liberal
arts classes are scheduled primarily on weekends, meeting
for four week blocks every-other weekend. This leaves significant
time for individual study and course preparation between classes.
There are three terms in an academic year: Fall
(September – December), Winter (January – March) and
Spring (April – June).
Hospital Partners
United/Mercy/Unity Hospitals and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics
of St. Paul have partnered with Augsburg College to offer courses
on site. Liberal arts courses required to complete the
BSN in Rochester and at these hospitals also meet primarily on weekday
evenings every other week. These courses have Web-based and videoconferencing
components.
