Since 1982, Augsburg College has had the privilege of helping more
than 2,300 women and men get their college degrees and enter into
changed lives of purpose, service and accomplishment. Today, more
than 850 adult students are taking classes at Augsburg College with
that same goal clearly in mind. Here are just a few of the stories
of those who’ve reached their goal. There are literally hundreds
more, and yours could one day be among them.

"The Augsburg curriculum has been extremely important
for my business career and professional advancement. It gave
me the roundedness that I needed, and I use what I learned
just about every day. I've encouraged a number of people
to try Weekend College because I believe earning a college
degree is an important step toward success for most people."

“The Weekend College schedule is so flexible. You
can make up your own course schedule based on what works
for you and your family, and pace yourself so you can keep
up with your school work. The instructors are very understanding
of your other responsibilities, but they also don't let you
off the hook. It is a very rigorous program." - Jit

"I never thought study abroad could be part of my degree
program – that was just for younger students, not for
someone like me, with a job and a family. But when I heard
about Augsburg's International Partners program in Germany,
I began to realize it could be possible. Last summer, I took
a leave from work, and had a six-week internship with a German
company; it was a life-changing experience. Now I know I
can do anything." - Sue

2001 Graduate
Manager, Subcontractor Services
and Sales Administration, Reliant Energy Minnegasco |
I have a very demanding job and a young child at home, so
going back to school presented a major challenge. The support
of my wife and the tuition reimbursement provided by my company
were instrumental in making it possible for me to get my
degree."
