Study Abroad

Augsburg history students have many opportunities to study abroad.

Professors on Augsburg’s history faculty have studied and/or lived on all five continents of the globe. They have also led study trips with Augsburg students, often with professors from other departments, providing a range of interdisciplinary experiences. Since 2000, we have taken students to Bolivia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Nicaragua, Poland, Scotland, and Turkey. For upcoming short-term trips led by Augsburg history professors, visit the Augsburg Abroad Office.

We also encourage students to take a semester, or even a year to study in another country. Since 2000, Augsburg history majors have studied long-term in Asia, Central America, and Europe. We have a wide range of affiliated programs across the globe.
